"Charlie Davidson, the best man, is a chemical oceanographer who graduated from the prestigious Scripps Institution of Oceanography. The groom and Charlie became close friends during their time as captains of the UCSD sailing team, and they went on to become roommates both in college and after graduation. Charlie's love of adventure has taken him all over the world, from sailing the o mom pen ocean to exploring new countries.Charlie is also an avid online gamer, and the groom has spent many late nights battling alongside him in virtual worlds. With his sharp mind and adventurous spirit, Charlie has always been a source of inspiration and support for the groom, and he's honored to have him as his best man."

"Bijal, the maid of honor, and Diana’s friendship blossomed senior year of high school when they both realized they were going to Cal Poly Pomona (go Broncos)! However, Diana remembers Bijal being the smarty pants in 8th grade who always answered the algebra questions without even raising her hand (like Hermione Granger). Bijal studied computer engineering, yet she made time to salsa dance with Diana and introduce her to Garba. Diana admires Bijal’s insane charm, brilliance, kindness, and love of adventure. Diana lives vicariously through Bijal’s snowboarding and rock climbing trips."

"Armaan Vachani is an engineer and a longtime friend of the groom, having known each other since they met in middle school (N. Bowditch Middle School). With a passion for engineering, Armaan and Chris have been tinkering with machines and technology together since they were young. In his free time, he loves playing video games, spending time with his family, and keeping up with the latest advancements in the world of biotechnology. His steadfast friendship, dedication, and support have been invaluable to the groom, and he's excited to have Armaan stand by his side on his big day."

"Thao and Diana's friendship started in 2017 at BioLegend. They quickly became really close friends as they had lots in common. Thao's favorite memory of Diana is when Diana pretended to be her partner to scare away the boys at the club. Thao looks up to Diana not only as a friend but also as an older sister she never had. "Nick Velichko is also a childhood friend of the groom, having become friends during middle school in the same classes and groups as Armaan. Nick currently works in accounting alongside his wife, Nicole, and enjoys spending his free time exploring the great outdoors. He's an avid mountain biker and loves going on road trips and traveling to new places. With his laid-back personality and compassionate nature, he is always there to lend an ear or offer a helping hand. The groom is honored to have Nick by his side on his special day, and he looks forward to many more adventures with him in the years to come."

"Jazmin met Diana in 7th grade at Brookhurst Jr. High in Anaheim, CA. They’ve been confused for sisters too many times to count and it feels like we are sisters from another mother. Jazmin is not only beautiful on the outside, but most importantly on the inside. She’s the most giving with those closest to her with her time and ability to problem solve. They’re supportive of each other and strive for personal growth. They’ve been partners in crimes for years and enjoy meeting up for book clubs with mutual friends to learn about new topics. This year Jazmin is training for a spartan run and shares her progress with Diana as she trains for her half marathon in June."

"Chau and Diana met in 2018 when Diana joined the R&D team at Thermo Fisher. Her first impression of Diana was that she was “very sweet,” which still holds true to this day! As the two bonded over late hours in the TC hood, Diana learned of Chau’s interest in makeup as a result of her background in theater costume design and stage makeup. Like Diana, Chau is passionate about personal development, and enjoys talking about self-help books with Diana. This year, they’re both training for their first half marathon in the summer."

"Maria is Diana’s gorgeous Persian sister! They met when they both participated with Thermo Fisher at the PRIDE parade in Hillcrest. They both love sweets and to laugh like hyenas when they’re together. They get asked if they’re sisters on several occasions too. Diana admires Maria’s determination and resilience in working tirelessly to achieve her educational and career goals. She inspired Diana to take the leap of faith and change fields/company in 2022. They both love chatting on the phone and talking about maintaining a positive mindset."

They first met at UCSD as part of the sailing team and later became roommates during and after college, where they bonded over their shared love for online gaming. Jonathan and his girlfriend Shirley are also science fiction fans and can often be found attending conventions like Comic-Con. With his sharp mind and scientific background, Jonathan has always been a valuable sounding board for the groom, and he's honored to have him as one of his groomsmen."

"Janna is the kind of dear friend that lights up a room with her beauty and energy! Her witty puns and sense of humor always has Diana cracking up! She met Diana and Chris when she joined Cytori in 2017. She distinctly remembers Diana leaving her bullet blender cup on the staircase and people tripping on it. Janna spoils Diana with delicious home cooked meals! Diana is Auntie to Janna’s Husky Athena and used to dogsit from time to time when she lived in San Diego. Janna bought a home in LA but they keep in touch via phone chats regularly."
